Plunkett Villa Tamborine is a 150-year-old house that has just been beautifully restored and opened as a Tamborine wedding, reception and special events venue. Conveniently located on the border of Logan and the Gold Coast Hinterland it is perfectly situated and equipped to hold your wedding, reception and wedding photo shoot.
Our beautifully decorated 20m x 10m marquee is available for your reception plus over 200 acres of space and surrounding pastures with Tamborine Mountain as a backdrop.
The property has off main road access, provides ample parking and easy access even for large buses. The sweeping driveway also gives the Bridal party a memorable entrance into the event.

Beautiful Photo Scenery for the Wedding Party
Our historic Plunkett Villa and its elegantly styled interior are perfectly suited for photo opportunities throughout the day. Other scenic locations on the property include “The Glen” which is by the Albert River surrounded by towering Eucalyptus trees, creating sensational sunset photos. The old dairy and ancient farm equipment is another favourite wedding backdrop.
Complete Reception Package
We offer a complete reception package which offers you the choice of several styles of tables and chairs, all glassware, cutlery, table decorations, ice buckets etc.
The organisation of all aspects of your wedding is included in the hire of our venue. We can also organise your photographer, celebrant, DJ or alternative music arrangement, flowers, hair and makeup, car and bus hire and your cake.
Parking & Transport
The property has ample parking for more than 50 cars. Arrangements are also in place for our bus line contact to pick up your guests from the Hyperdome for destination Plunkett Villa and then the guests will be safely returned at the end of the evening.
We can also hire 2 unique cars for your photo opportunities – HSV 2002 Monaro Coupe or Ford 1964 Mustang.
